VEGA® Laminated Glass

Code: 108

SIG’s Laminated Glass is a type of safety glazing material engineered for enhanced security and occupant protection. It comprises multiple glass panels joined together with a resilient plastic interlayer, typically polyvinyl butyral (PVB). This composite structure offers numerous advantages. In the event of breakage, the interlayer retains the glass fragments, mitigating the risk of injury from falling shards and enhancing ballistic resistance. Laminated glass can also be formulated to incorporate UV filtering capabilities and dampen sound transmission.
